CHORAL CAROLING

 

It has become a tradition in our theater that, as our thoughts increasingly turn toward the holiday atmosphere of reflection, personal contemplation, and the unique warmth of the Christmas season, we invite you to join us in singing carols together… The holidays are just around the corner, and more often now, the lyrics and melodies of beloved carols find their way into our thoughts.

 

According to legend and various sources, the first carol was given to us by Saint Francis of Assisi. Over the centuries, however, some of the greatest composers began creating carols, capturing the joyous spirit and expressing the essence of this holiday season, so dear and meaningful to us all.

 

We sincerely hope that, as per tradition, you will join us again this year for a magical evening by the Christmas tree, where the most well-known and beloved carols—not only Polish ones—will resonate in festive arrangements, surprising interpretations, and remarkable performances by the artists of our theater choir, accompanied by the PRIMUZ chamber orchestra, representing the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź.

 

And since singing carols together is a wonderful tradition, we make no secret of our belief that your active participation will undoubtedly enhance our gathering, bring us closer together, and add joy, satisfaction, and an irreplaceable charm to the holiday spirit.

 

After all, everyone can—and should—sing! So, let us carol together!
