We warmly invite you to a unique event dedicated to support and solidarity with our Ukrainian neighbors, the victims of a brutal war. On February 24, 2025, marking the third anniversary of the outbreak of war in Ukraine, join us at the Grand Theatre in Łódź to unite our hearts in aid of those who need it most.  

 

It is estimated that over a million lives have been lost since the beginning of this war. Each of us can, in our own way, directly or indirectly, contribute to ending this conflict or alleviating the consequences of a war that has dragged on for so many years. The needs in this war-torn country are immense, and every form of support is invaluable.  

 

By attending the concert "Contra spem spero! I Shall Live! Away with Dark Thoughts!" you will hear works by Polish and Ukrainian composers. Among the performers will be outstanding Polish and Ukrainian artists: Iryna Zhytynska, Sofia Soloviy, Rafał Bartmiński, and Rafał Siwek. Accompanying them on the piano will be Tatiana Dranchuk and Natalia Gaponenko. The concert is directed by Olena Sawchuk.
