OPERA AND MORE... / Joanna Woś & Bacewicz String Quartet's concert

On October 19, 2016 on The Lodz Grand Theatre's Small Stage we have inaugurated the new concerts series entitled OPERA AND MORE…. During the first concert the audience could hear Giacomo Puccini's Crisantemi, Paul Klecki's String Quartet Op. 1 in A minor performed by Bacewicz String Quartet and Ottorino Respighi's Il Tramonto with a special guest appearance by Lodz Grand Theatre’s singer Joanna Woś.
Thank you very much for joining us last Wednesday. We hope to see you again at our next concert on November 9. On the second Wednesday of November you will be able to hear Winterreise by Franz Schubert, performed by Stanisław Kierner and Michał Rot.

With the beginning of 2016/2017 season starts a new concert series entitled OPERA AND MORE…. Once a month, on the Small Stage of the Lodz Grand Theatre will perform opera’s resident artists (who often are members of music ensembles and who will have an opportunity to present their artistry in a different repertoire). Among invited artists are many well-known and prestigious music ensembles – string quartets, wind quintets, piano trios and of course accomplished singers.
