On 19 and 20 March 2017 Lodz Grand Theatre organized an open ballet audition. From 350 people who sent their applications, almost 60 dancers had the opportunity to present their skills during the ballet auditions. So who is going to join the Lodz Grand Theatre’s Ballet Company from next season? We shall find out and announce it very soon. In the meantime, we would like to encourage you to watch the video report from the ballet audition. We wanted to present the coverage of the ballet auditions to show how the selection to the Lodz Grand Theatre’s Ballet Company looked like. We decided to present you this unusual, unedited video without retouch to show you the reality of a ballet audition. What do you think about it? Taking the opportunity, we would like to thank all the participants of the ballet audition who travelled from far to meet with us and take part in the auditions. We hope to see you again in the season 2017-2018.
And please don’t forget that the first Saturday of the month is the day of the ballet open rehearsal. The next one will take place on 1 April 2017.
