Lodz Grand Theatre participated in the programme OPEN COMPANY organized as a part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. 42 students from the 36th Primary School in Lodz visited Lodz Grand Theatre on 14 and 17 November 2017. For two days Head of the Sound Department, Mr. Roman Kulesza, turned into a guide who was showing young guests around the theatre, presenting all corners and secret hideouts of the second largest opera house in Poland. He was also answering questions about different theatre jobs. Thanks to this initiative children could learn more about the work of singers, musicians, dancers and also observe technical workers at work (incl. lighting and sound crews, shoe-makers, costume-makers, dressing ladies, metalworkers and painters).
