SPANISH LOVE STORY
“A Spanish Love Story” is a unique concert infused with the rhythms of Argentine tango, brought to life by the remarkable piano duo. Joining the pianists on stage will be mezzo-soprano Mariana Rewerski.
The pianists have known each other for 25 years. They share a passion for piano duets, a deep need for artistic expression, and above all, a strong desire to bring comprehensive thematic projects to fruition. They are the creators of a program based on the music of Astor Piazzolla, including selections from Maria de Buenos Aires—an operita arranged by Adrian Kreda for two pianos, voice, a dancing couple, and percussion. Together, they perform concerts with orchestras and recitals across Poland, many European countries (Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Spain), and globally (Argentina, Uruguay, China, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai). Their repertoire includes original musical visions and projects as well as classical pieces for two pianos and four hands.
Mariana Rewerski is a mezzo-soprano with an extraordinarily diverse repertoire, spanning early music, Rossini operas, and works by 20th-century composers. Her rich artistic range not only captivates audiences but also guarantees a wealth of emotions.
During the concert, audiences will hear not only compositions by the tango master Astor Piazzolla but also themes from The Last of the Mohicans and The Phantom of the Opera.
