Collegium Musicum Łódź
An early music ensemble composed of students and graduates of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. Specializes in the interpretation of late Baroque music in the historically informed performance practice, with a focus on the cantata and chamber repertoire of Johann Sebastian Bach. The ensemble regularly performs in Łódź churches and academic institutions, showcasing the richness and emotional and artistic depth of the Baroque repertoire, from chamber sonatas to monumental choral-instrumental works.
 
Simona El-Sayed
Soprano. A second-year master's student at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, studying under Prof. Dr. hab. Beata Zawadzka-Kłos and Dr. Anna Werecka-Gryć. She appeared in the main cast of Joseph Haydn's opera "Il mondo della luna" accompanied by the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra as part of a Polish-Norwegian academic project. She also participated in an academic production of Jean-Philippe Rameau's opera "Platée" accompanied by an interuniversity Baroque orchestra.
 
Krzysztof Lachman
Tenor from the Krakow area, currently a second-year master's student at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. He began his musical journey at the age of 13 playing trombone and piano. He currently hones his vocal technique and skills in the class of Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Bednarek. In September 2020, he made his debut at the Grand Theatre in Łódź in the role of Mengone in Joseph Haydn's opera "Lo Speziale." Since November 2022, he has been a participant in the Young Talent Education Program - Opera Academy at the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw. In November 2023, he received a scholarship from the Hans and Eugenia Jütting Stendal Foundation. He has participated in numerous masterclasses, including the Exzellenz-Labor Oper in Weikersheim, Germany. He has worked under the guidance of Jan Willem de Vriend, Raffaello Cortesi, Olga Pasiecznik, Izabela Kłosińska, Michał Biel, Katelan Tran Terrell, Mariusz Kwietnia, Hedwig Fassbender, René Massis, and many others.
 
Jan Szurgot
Bass-baritone, born in Łódź. A graduate of the Łódź Academy of Music under the guidance of Prof. Dr. hab. Piotr Miciński. He won the second prize at the Imrich Godin International Vocal Competition in Slovakia and received a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Association. He debuted at the Bamberg Sommer Oper Festival in 2013 in the role of Masetto in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni." In the artistic season 2014/2015, he performed at the Wuppertaler Bühnen, where he participated in productions such as Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca," Richard Strauss's "Salome," Johann Sebastian Bach's "St. John Passion," and debuted at the Grand Theatre in Łódź in the role of Bartolo in Gioachino Rossini's opera "The Barber of Seville." From 2015 to 2017, he was associated with the Staatsoper Hannover, where he performed in productions such as Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca," Bedřich Smetana's "The Bartered Bride," and numerous productions by the Junge Oper Hannover. In January 2015, he reprised the role of Masetto and performed in Amsterdam, The Hague, Zwolle, and other cities in collaboration with the HET Symfonieorkestr under the baton of Jan Willem de Vriend. Since 2018, he has been collaborating with the Baltic Opera, where he performed the role of Fiorello in Gioachino Rossini's "The Barber of Seville." He currently collaborates with the Grand Theatre in Łódź (including the role of Sid in Giacomo Puccini's opera "The Girl of the Golden West") and the Polish Camerata Chamber Orchestra.
