YELED in Hebrew means “kid”.
Can we change ourselves as adults?
Can we be kids again? Can we clean filters?
Can we let go of bad habits?
We can be better.

In the process of the creation we were talking about the point in our life as adults which we lost the feeling of being a kid, the feeling of being naturally pure, and the ability to have clean filters.
When was the point when we lost our innocence and why? Maybe because of a simple sentence that we heard, or because we saw something which changed it, or because of a bad dream…
One of the main keys of the creation are the actual things that we learned as kids, and how these things designed us to be the people that we are today.

SECUS is a creation by Ohad Naharin that boasts a musical collage that stretches from the offbeat electronic stylings of AGF to the alluring Indian melodies of Kaho Naa Pyar Hai to the resonant harmonies of the Beach Boys. This adventurously eclectic mix serves as a fitting backdrop for the audaciously quirky choreography.  Under our incredulous eyes a human alphabet made up of races, solos, terse and clean gestures, interrupted duets, through precise and sudden kicks, sinuous jutting hips, torsos that twist in all directions like molding rubber, expresses pure emotions and feelings without becoming sentimental. Joy, vulnerability, fear, innocence, confusion and anger weave a harmonic and dynamic canvas that oscillates between delicacy and exaggeration.
