In 2010, she graduated with honors from the Vocal and Drama Department of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, under the supervision of Professor Krystyna Rorbach.
In December 2009, she made her debut at the Grand Theatre in Łódź in the role of Julius Caesar in Handel's opera "Julius Caesar," directed by Paul Esswood and directed by Artur Stefanowicz. A year later, she performed the roles of Millena and Maria Antonia in the world premiere of Marty Ptaszyńska's opera "The Lovers from the Valldemosa Monastery," also at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, under the direction of Wojciech Michniewski and directed by Tomasz Konina. As a doctoral student at the Academy of Music in Łódź, she sang the solo role of Zita in the student opera "Gianni Schicchi" by G. Puccini, which was performed at the New Theatre in Łódź under the direction of Andrzej Straszyński in April 2011.
In September 2012, she debuted in the musical "Shadow," in which she played the title role and was also one of the creators of this project. The performance, with music by Maciej Małecki and lyrics by Wojciech Młynarski, directed by Andrzej Żarnecki, was created as part of a project dedicated to young art creators, co-financed by the funds of the Łódź Voivodeship budget.
Since September 2014, she has been a permanent soloist at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, with which she has been collaborating since 2010. There, she performs solo parts in operas such as Donizetti's "Anna Bolena," Bizet's "Carmen," Verdi's "La Traviata," Puccini's "Madama Butterfly," Mozart's "The Magic Flute," Moniuszko's "The Haunted Manor," Verdi's "Il Trovatore," Wagner's "The Flying Dutchman," Strauss's "The Gypsy Baron," Strauss's "A Night in Venice," Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin," Strauss's "Die Fledermaus," Verdi's "Rigoletto," Rossini's "The Barber of Seville," Saint-Saëns's "Samson and Delilah," Mozart's "Cosi fan tutte," Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro," Verdi's "Aida," Puccini's "The Girl of the Golden West," Gounod's "Faust," and Penderecki's "Paradise Lost."
She had the pleasure of singing under the baton of conductors such as Tadeusz Kozłowski, Wojciech Michniewski, Gabriel Chmura, Vladimir Kiradjiev, Andrzej Straszyński, Mieczysław Dondajewski, Piotr Wajrak, Evgeny Volynski, Ruben Silva, Tomasz Tokarczyk, Eraldo Salmieri, Bassem Akiki, Paweł Przytocki, Paul Esswood, Andrzej Knap, Wojciech Rodek, Massimiliano Caldi, Jerzy Wołosiuk, and collaborated with directors such as Krystyna Janda, Laco Adamik, Janina Niesobska, Tomasz Konina, Michał Znaniecki, Alvis Hermanis, Ivan Vyrypayev, Hanna Chojnacka, Waldemar Zawodziński, Andrzej Żarnecki, Paweł Szkotak, Roberto Skolmowski, Sjaron Minailo, Marcin Bortkiewicz, Giorgio Madia, Włodzimierz Nurkowski, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, Karolina Sofulak, Marek Weiss-Grzesiński, Ewa Rucińska, Pia Partum.
In October 2015 and 2023, she performed as the Cześnikowa in "The Haunted Manor" by S. Moniuszko, which was staged at the Polish Social and Cultural Center in London, directed by Feliks Tarnawski and conducted by Stephen Ellery and Aleksander Walker. A year later, in the same place and under the same direction and production, she participated in the premiere of the opera "The Countess" by S. Moniuszko as Bronia. It was the London premiere of this work. In 2019, in the same venue, she appeared as the titular Jawnuta in the opera by S. Moniuszko of the same title. It took place during the Moniuszko Year, and this opera was also shown abroad for the first time.
The artist collaborates with the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok, where she made her debut in January 2013 as Cześnikowa in "The Haunted Manor" by S. Moniuszko, as well as with the Grand Theatre in Poznań ("Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Jenůfa" by L. Janáček, "Boris Godunov" by M. Mussorgsky, "The Magic Flute" by W.A. Mozart, "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi, "Parsifal" by R. Wagner, "Faust" by Ch. Gounod, "Albert Herring" by B. Britten) and the Kraków Opera ( "Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Gianni Schicchi" by G. Puccini, "Anna Bolena" by G. Donizetti, "Manru" by I.J. Paderewski, "Candide" by L. Bernstein).
She sang alto parts in such works of oratorio music as, among others, Mozart's "Missa Brevis in B" (2004), Camille Saint-Saëns' "Oratorio for Christmas" (2006, 2015, Łódź Philharmonic), Marian Sawy's "Stabat Mater" (2007, Music Academy in Łódź - premiere), Mozart's "Missa Brevis in D" (2008, Łódź Philharmonic), Handel's "Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne" (2009, Poznański Palace in Łódź), Mozart's "Coronation Mass in C major" (2009, concert conducted by Henryk Wierzchoń), Liszt's "Via Crucis" (2011, Music Academy in Łódź), Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater" (2012, Concert for Holy Week organized by the Grand Theatre in Łódź conducted by Eraldo Salmieri), Mozart's "Requiem" (2013, 2018, Łódź Philharmonic), Haydn's "Nelson Mass" (2013, Łódź Philharmonic), Szymanowski's "Stabat Mater" (2015, Concert for Holy Week - Grand Theatre in Łódź), Rossini's "Petite Messe Solennelle" (2015, Concert in Wieliczka realized by the Krakow Opera), Schnittke's "Requiem" (2016, Łódź Philharmonic), Bach's "Magnificat," Zeidler's "Missa Pastorycia" (2017, Archcathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle in Szczecin), Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9 op. 125" (2017, Łódź Philharmonic), Gorczycki's "Completorium," Saint-Saëns' "Requiem" (2017, Poznań Philharmonic), Debussy's "Pelléas et Mélisande" (2018, Krakow Philharmonic), Bruckner's "Te Deum" (2019, Krakow Philharmonic), Dvořák's "Stabat Mater" (2024, Grand Theatre in Łódź - Concert for Holy Week).
She participated in numerous master classes, including those by Piotr Łykowski, Artur Stefanowicz - performance of baroque music; Laurent Pillot, in a course of phonetics of foreign languages in singing led by Esther de Bros, Master Class in Vocal Technique and Interpretation by Prof. Teresa Żylis - Gara in Radziejowice, Master Class in Vocal Technique by Dr. Helena Zubanovich.
At the XIII Ada Sari International Vocal Art Competition in April 2009, she received a special prize from Giuseppe Giacomini in the form of a week-long stay in Italy and singing lessons. In August 2009, she attended an individual master class conducted by Giuseppe Giacomini in Italy - as part of the awarded prize.
In March 2010, she won the 1st Prize and an Honorable Mention for the best performance of F. Chopin's songs at the 12th Inter-University Competition in the Circle of Slavic Vocal Music in Katowice.
In April 2010, together with pianist Julia Laskowska, she won the 1st Prize in the voice with piano category at the 17th International Chamber Music Competition named after Kiejstut Bacewicz in Łódź.
From 2008 to 2017, she collaborated with the composer and lecturer at the Academy of Music in Łódź, Rafał Gzella, with whom she recorded two albums. One featuring the composer's music to the words of Polish poets' poems titled "Wild Rose and Other Cycles to the Words of Polish Poets" (2010) and "Saudades" released in 2011, featuring well-known pieces arranged for piano by the composer to texts by authors such as A. Osiecka and W. Młynarski.
The artist collaborates with two contemporary music creators from Łódź, Sebastian Kondratowicz and Cezary Kurowski. The latter creates song cycles specially dedicated to Olga Maroszek's voice. In 2018, she recorded an album with his compositions titled "Kontrapiękno".
Since 2015, Olga Maroszek has also been performing with the Łódź-based Apertus Quartet. The artists together created a program consisting of well-known standards arranged for a string quartet titled "Evergreens Chamberly". She has also established a collaboration with jazz pianist Lena Ledoff, with whom she forms a duo called Duo Komeda, performing the composer's pieces at concerts throughout Poland.
In 2009, together with pianist Elżbieta Tyszecka, she recorded an album released by Acte Prealable publishing house featuring songs by Polish composers titled "Polish Songs". In 2017, she participated in the recording of "Requiem" by A. Schnittke. The album was released by DUX publishing house. In 2023, she released an album titled "Longing of the Soul" with Russian composers' songs, together with pianist Julia Laskowska, also under Acte Prealable.
As a soloist, she collaborates with numerous choirs in Łódź and serves as the Artistic Director of the Canto Alegre Singing Association named after Jan Kondratowicz in Łódź. Every year, she performs in concerts featuring chamber, operatic, musical, and entertainment repertoire in Poland and abroad.
In the academic year 2009/2010, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 2010, she was awarded a one-time scholarship by the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship for outstanding artistic achievements.
The artist also conducts concert activities with repertoire ranging from opera, art songs, oratorio, to musicals throughout the country.
