Piano recital and opera in four acts. The performance will be in Italian with Polish subtitles.
Opera with Chopin... Not only in the title

It is a beautiful story based on the life and unique music of Fryderyk Chopin, enriched with vocal and acting performances. This opera was created with great sympathy and admiration for the music of Fryderyk Chopin. Its creator, the Italian Giacomo Orefice, based his score entirely on the music of the Polish composer. Chopin's life also served as inspiration for the libretto, and his name became the title of the opera.

Chopin – as some music historians claim – is an opera that is a wildly inaccurate account of the composer's life. All characters except Chopin are entirely fictional, and the course of operatic events only suggests certain threads from the life of the great Pole. How much truth and how much fantasy is in the librettist's work?

However, the entire piece provides great opportunities for vocal and acting performances for all performers. And that's what opera is all about. Fryderyk Chopin did not compose a single opera, and allegedly, he didn't even dream of creating music for the theater. This time – Chopin's character on stage and his music in a completely different form. Will we be surprised? Definitely – but of course, in a positive way.
