Ballet in one act
Although there are allegedly 700 versions of the Cinderella fairy tale, the story itself probably needs no explanation. It always features a mistreated orphan, a kind fairy, a handsome and lovestruck prince, and, above all, a lost slipper that will fit only one foot and eventually aid in identifying the mysterious beauty.

The dance tale of reward for humility and punishment for pride has seen many choreographic interpretations. Giorgio Madia, in approaching his version of the fairy tale, transported it to the 1950s, as that era remained in his memory as a "period of rebirth of dreams, hope, and optimism." Another strong inspiration for the choreographer was Walt Disney's Cinderella, an icon of pop culture today.

And so, another version of the touching story of a girl tormented by her malicious stepmother and stepsisters was created. However, not everything on our stage is as straightforward as in the tales of Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm. The performance, adorned with Golden Masks, is brimming with humor and surprising staging ideas. Its creators skillfully balance between parody and homage to ballet. No one will be bored for a moment during this spectacle.
