"I feel green" - Hits of Agnieszka Osiecka

Concert

Producers:

The Greatest Hits of Agnieszka Osiecka arranged by Aleksandra Wojtaszek.
When we talk about Polish songs of the 20th century, Agnieszka Osiecka (alongside equally famous and brilliant figures like Jonasz Kofta and Wojciech Młynarski) stands out as the personality whose authorial pen made everyday life colorful and vibrant, turning poor humor into cheerful and mood-lifting moments, and transforming the sometimes unfavorable present into positive reassurance and hope for better times ahead...

Osiecka's lyrics won festivals, were featured on radio and television, and were hummed by audiences regardless of the occasion or mood. And so it remains to this day, albeit in such varied renditions. And considering that composers like Katarzyna Gärtner, Seweryn Krajewski, Krzysztof Komeda, or Waldemar Kazanecki provided music for Osiecka's lyrics, it's no wonder that her songs became hits right after their premieres, earning well-deserved awards at vocal festivals and competitions. And for such reasons alone, it's worth revisiting them today.

We invite you especially because this time, artists whom we typically associate with a different kind of music have taken on the challenge of interpreting Agnieszka Osiecka's works. The concert promises to be both promising and intriguing. It's worth seeing how they handle songs like "Małgośka," "Zielono mi," "Na całych jeziorach ty," "Sing Sing," "Ludzkie gadanie," "Bossanova do poduszki," "Okularnicy," and more.

Returning once again to the classics of popular music, let's collectively appreciate their value and artistic uniqueness. And since Agnieszka Osiecka undoubtedly holds a prominent place among them, moments spent with her musical poetry will lead us to reflection and artistic contemplation.
