The XXVII Łódź Ballet Festival commenced with a performance by the ballet ensemble from Opéra de Lyon!

The artists presented performances of BEACH BIRDS and BIPED, choreographed by the master of abstraction, Merce Cunningham. Following the premiere performance for the Polish audience, a meeting took place, attended by the dancers, composer Gavin Bryars, and Cédric Andrieux, Director of Ballet at the Lyon Opera.
